Why are people afraid of relationships?
Reluctant for something,
That makes you ponder outside your own world.
That makes you do things you would never do for yourself.
That makes you see beauty in little words that matters to
you.
To see that smile in their eyes that means more than
money.
To see the little things people do for each other and
feel grandiose.
To see the gradual change happening inside us.
To know about the place where they are and imagine you
along.
To know about the flaws and the best of us.
To know about how life will not be as good without them.
To have the courage to do as our hearts speak and minds refrain.
To have the courage to take the step with faith all
along.
To tell the stupidest things of us and still feel not so stupid.
To finally believe that once the hated past proved best
for you.
To finally believe that the once feared future will hold
good for you.
To finally believe in the sanctity of our never seen and
believed god.
Be it our parents, friends, siblings, spouse.
Or a loving companion made next door.
They are the people that bring meaning to our lives,
And make us put effort for those little true things
True smile
True contentment
True serenity and solace
After all, beautiful things require effort.
Ain’t it?
Then, why are people afraid of relationships?
